They are on their way !!!

Harold and Derek got off to a 'slightly late' start on Tuesday morning, the 6th of March. Of all the silly things that could have happened in the month of March, it snowed down to the valley floor, and it made things a little slick down here. But, off they went.

Derek has been an outdoor enthusiast most of his life, having grown up in a rural part of Northern California. This trek for him is to challenge what he thinks he can do. He enjoys taking on challenges that most consider difficult or impossible. An example is E.S.C.A.P.E. Survival Challenge. The average person might think it's going to be difficult to take on the challenges of preventing or even eliminating child abuse in our society but he believes that with the right tools it can be done. If this trek can help fund the program, why not do it?
